 istry\, lay or ordained\, please tell them about this opportunity to learn
  about GTS and about General's degree\, diploma\, and certificate programs
 \, most of which can be undertaken on a full- or part-time basis.One night
  of complimentary housing is offered\, based on availability. The General 
 Theological Seminary\, founded in 1817\, prepares women and men for both o
 rdained and lay ministries through a wide variety of degree and certificat
 e programs. Its historic campus in the heart of New York City is also home
  to the Desmond Tutu Center\, a modern\, full-service conference facility.
