 e Episocpal Church's anti-racism training requirements for clergy.</p>\n<p

  honored to host this anti-racism training\, offered by the Episcopal Dioc
 ese of New York and open to both students of the seminary and outside part
 icipants. </p>\n<p>The purpose of the training is to help us become aware 
 of how the sin of racism impacts ALL of our lives and our ministries withi
 n the church and in society. The training also invites us to recognize and
  own how we all\, unconsciously and consciously\, participate in racist so
 cial structures and institutional systems.</p>\n<p style='margin-top: 0px\
 ; margin-bottom: 5px\;'>Dialog is the foundation of the two days. We use g
 roups exercises and\, together\, examine scientific and historical evidenc
 e concerning the origins of the concept of race and its legacy.</p>\n<p st
 yle='margin-top: 0px\; margin-bottom: 5px\;'>The workshop is helpful to an
 yone\, but especially to those who seek to help build the reign of God.</p
 >\n<p>General Seminary students may enroll without cost\, as the training 
 is included in tuition. Students who complete both days of this anti-racis
 m training will have their participation recorded as CS 199 - Anti-Racism 
 Training on their formal transcripts.</p>\n<p>Outside participants are req
