In Memoriam - Krister Stendahl, 1921-2008. Noted theoloigan, New Testament scholar, and former Dean of the Faculty at Harvard Divinity School, Krister Stendahl died on April 15. He visited GTS at least twice, once to address the College for Bishops in 1996 and also to deliver the Seminary's Paddock Lectures. Here is Dr. Stendahl's lecture, The Bishop as Teacher, delivered in Seabury Auditorium in September of 1996.
