Prospective Student Conference:

Each year we offer two-day and one-day opportunities for prospective students to see for themselves what The General Theological Seminary and the City of New York have to offer. Our 2013/2014 conference dates are:

Monday, November 11, 2013
Sunday, February 16 - Monday, February 17, 2014
Monday, April 28, 2014

During the conference, prospective students tour the Close, attend classes, as well as meet, worship, and dine with faculty and students. Partners and spouses are welcome to attend at no additional cost.

The last day to register for the fall conference is Friday, November 1. Please note: Space Fills Up Quickly for the Prospective Students Conference. Register Now.

If you'd like to interview at the fall or spring conference, please plan to stay through Tuesday, as the interviews will take place on November 12 and April 29, respectively. Interviews at the winter conference take place during the conference itself. Please complete and submit the online application one week prior to your interview date.

You may register online for any of the conferences; to do so Open the Conference Online Registration Form.

Students of Color Vocations Day:

The Students of Color Association (SOCA) at General Seminary invites Christians of all denominations, lay or ordained, to attend our sixth annual Vocations Day in April 2014. Begun in 2005, SOCA's Vocations Days have drawn hundreds of participants. The event focuses on how people of color within the Episcopal Church and other Christian denominations can discern and realize their call to ministry, lay or ordained. Specially qualified presenters, Q&A sessions, worship, and a tour of the Seminary's beautiful campus are all part of the popular event.
