The Master of Sacred Theology with a concentration in Christian Spirituality

The Master of Sacred Theology in Christian Spirituality is an integral part of the Seminary's advanced degree curriculum. The program is sponsored by the Center for Christian Spirituality of The General Seminary and conforms to all of the other policies, standards, and requirements of the Seminary. This course of study may be undertaken on either a full-time or part-time basis. The academic emphasis is on subjects related to Christian spirituality and formation ministries, especially as they have been understood and interpreted within the Anglican tradition. Structure of the Program
The overall requirements for the S.T.M. with a concentration in Christian Spirituality are the same as for a Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) that is focused on research and theological study. All students must take 24 credits in or closely related to Christian Spirituality. An individual's plan of study must have the approval of the Center's Director.
