Description

ST125 — JESUS CHRIST: MYSTERY, MISSION, MESSIAH

This course explores the theological understanding of who Jesus is and his work in the world. We will read from both classical and contemporary sources on the mystery of Jesus' mission as the messiah. Our goal is to deepen our knowledge of Jesus as "the Christ," and to reflect together on the Church's on-going discovery of the meaning of his redemption of the world. A special consideration of our study is our union with Jesus in the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, through which participate in his mission.

Prof. Joshua Davis. 3 credits.
