AT305-Group Spiritual Guidance Practicum
AT 305 — GROUP SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE PRACTICUM
This course introduces students to approaches for providing spiritual guidance, and for creating opportunities for spiritual growth, in small groups. The course learning includes models for contemplative group spiritual direction and for discernment in group settings. Students experience and lead group practices and develop processes for offering group spiritual guidance in their own faith communities. They also are provided with resources for exploring, in greater depth, such group spiritual exercises as the clearness committees of the Quaker tradition and Ignatian imaginative prayer together.
Enrollment limit is 15 students, and the course is not open to auditors.
