HB 142 – HEBREW POETRY
For students with a good grasp of Hebrew grammar and vocabulary, this class provides opportunity to read more poetical texts. Class sessions are devoted primarily to translating poetic passages in the Hebrew Bible. Attention is given to the defining characteristics of Hebrew poetry.
Prerequisites: HB10 and HB100 or HB101, or equivalent. Students need the professor's permission to audit.
