OT 113 – IN THE BEGINNING: CREATION TRADITIONS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
A study of the various texts which reflect a belief in God's creation of the world, especially Genesis chaps. 1-11; selected Psalms; Isaiah chaps 40-44; Job 38-41; Proverbs 8:22-31; and portions of Ben Sira and Wisdom of Solomon. The biblical material is compared with creation concepts in mythological and hymnic texts of surrounding cultures.
