Welcome to General Theological Seminary's online registration system for General Learners, students not pursuing a formal program of study.

Are you are interested in taking a course in January 2014 that will enhance your ministry or prayer, teach you more about your faith, meet your interest in a theological topic, or allow you to begin graduate-level studies before matriculation? Using this online registration system, you can sign up easily and efficiently.

This winter, General Seminary is delighted to offer two courses focusing on prayer and contemplative pratice. These courses are designed with class schedules helpful to visitors to New York City and students who have full-time jobs. Contemplative Practices will run intensively for just three days, giving students a retreat, and conclude each day by 1:00pm to allow time for exploring New York City. Open Your Eyes will meet on two weekday evenings and then all day on Friday, including a museum trip, so that students who live in the New York area need take only one day off from work.

To learn more about these courses and to register, simply click on the links below.

For other kinds of information, such as possibilities for housing if you are not within commuting distance of New York City and a map of the campus, please visit this resource page for General Learners.

Thank you for joining the General Seminary community!

This registration system is for General Learners. If you are matriculated in a degree, diploma or certificate program, please register instead through your student portal.
