Tuition and fees

Our hybrid program is designed to make learning work around your schedule and to reduce the costs incurred through traditional residential programs.

Tuition

Students on the Hybrid MDiv program normally complete between 18-21 credits per year.

For students admitted into the Hybrid MDiv program, 100% of tuition is covered by a mix of internal and external scholarships for all eligible Hybrid MDiv students.

Please note that at this time, the program is only open to US Citizens or Residents, and students in the ordination process in The Episcopal Church (or a Full Communion Partner), with the approval of their bishop or judicatories.

Room and Board

The Hybrid MDiv program is taught through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online courses, a competency-based approach to contextual learning, and in-person week-long intensive courses that are scheduled no more than 3 times per year at the Seminary.  Students are responsible for the cost of Room and Board at the Seminary campus during intensive courses.

Students are charged $1000 for Room and $500 for meals during the intensive weeks (Sunday - Friday).

Miscellaneous

Students are responsible for the cost of travel to and from the Seminary, all technology related expenses (see technology policy), plus books and incidentals.
